Joy FM Birthday Surprise Winner Gets ?29m

A student of the University of Ghana Medical School, Robert Mills,received a cheque for ?29 million, the highest cash bonus ever won by any participant in the Joy FM Birthday Surprise.

Members of the public were asked to call in to win prizes if their birthday corresponded to the random birthday drawn each morning.Whirlpool Home Appliances sponsored the promotion which ran for two weeks on the Super Morning Show.

Prizes included Whirpool home appliances, Fairborn biscuits, cakes and pastries from Bakeshop Classics, Rox energy drink, Sunset rice, a room makeover from Eyaqueen and mobile phones from Mobile Phone People.

Other cash prize winners were Roger F. Kwakye who won ?16 million and Mrs Joana Kyere who won ?5 million.The rest were Fanny Dsani, William Agbemafle, Agnes Dare, Gameli Anaglate and Elfreda Odoom.
