Korean Soap Opera to Air in Ghana

SEOUL, Nov. 26 (Yonhap) -- A South Korean soap opera that has enjoyed exploding popularity in Japan will be aired in Ghana for the next seven weeks beginning this month, the Foreign Ministry said Friday.

The broadcast of the TV series "Winter Sonata" in the African state is part of Seoul's efforts to improve its image and promote its culture abroad, it said.
