On the night, controversial dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale was adjudged ‘Male Act of the Year’ while his smash hit single ‘Ayoo’ received the ‘Song of the Year’.

Patapaa’s smash hit single ‘Once Corner’ won ‘Viral Song of the Year’ at the event.

3Music awarded songs released between the periods of November 1, 2016, to October 31, 2017.
