2018 National Gospel Music Awards successfully launched

The second edition of the National Gospel Music Awards has been launched.

The event which is organised by Royal Akofena Entertainment was held at the Miklin Hotel in Kumasi on Friday September 28, 2018.

Present at the launch were Gospel musicians including Ernest Opoku, Gifty Osei, Kwaku Gyasi, Mabel Okyere, Oware Junior, Faffa and others in attendance.

Organizers of the awards have announced a cut down in the categories with two new categories in this year’s edition.

These new categories include Vibrant Worship Artist (Male) and Vibrant Worship Artist (Female).

The awards now comes with 22 categories, which will be judged by a board of JURY after public nominations before the public is invited to decide the ultimate winner through votes.

The Award event seeks to to honour and appreciate gospel musicians who have released work(s) that have generated the most public excitement within the calendar year of the scheme.

Organizers announced at the event launch that nominations are opened for awards consideration and that forms they can be filled on their website, raegh.com and at offices of multimedia group.
