Bisa Kdei should have won Artiste of the Year in 2016 and not EL – D-Flex

The vodafone Ghana Music Awards is undoubtedly the best award scheme in the country but it has always been accompanied with lots of controversies with musicians and industry players often pointing fingers at the organizers for unfair treatment .

It has tend to be part of the scheme yearly as musicians often complain of omission or denial of a deserving award .

The latest to add his voice to the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards brouhaha is Highlife Musician D-Flex.

D-flex is of the assertion that Bisa kdei should have won the artiste of the year award in 2016 and not EL.

He made this assertion in an interview on e.TV Ghana on the ‘ late Nite Celebrity Show ‘ .

In response to the question that if he believed the system put in place to award winners was credible, the highlife musician opined that Bisa Kdei was at his peak in 2016 and should have won the most coveted award as Artiste of the year and not rapper , EL.

“Believe or not believe, when you are awarded, it’s yours. I mean it happens everywhere, it’s not only in Ghana. I remember one award like that, I think artiste of the year. Bisa K’dei was supposed to be the artiste of the year but they gave it to EL. To me, I think Bisa deserved it,” he said .
