Ghanaian entertainment critic and an artiste manager, Mr Logic has said giving Ghanaian songs 80% airplay is not the best way to tackle the current problem that the Ghanaian entertainment industry is facing.

Following recent Menzgold-Zylofon Nigeria launch brouhaha where some Ghanaian artistes were humiliated by Nigerian audience, the Musician Union of Ghana, (MUSIGA) has taken a step in order to get Ghanaian song go beyond our borders.

According to Mr Logic during an interview on Zylofon Showbiz Agenda with Sammy Flex, the best solution to this problem is to make sure Ghanaian artistes releases good songs that can cross the Ghanaian border.

“The content of the song should be good, and then we wouldn’t have a problem with crossing borders”

He added that, if the contents of the songs are good we will need less effort in terms of promoting the song to the international level.

Adding to his point he made reference of the Nigerian uprising artiste, Victor AD’s just dropped single track dubbed “Wetin We Gain”, which is a hit song in Ghana because the content is good.

“Because his song has great lyrical content, with about three months of promotion in Ghana, it is one of the biggest hits currently,” he told Sammy Flex.
