The game of life is alot like football; You may have to tackle your problems, block your fears and score your points when you get the opportunity.

This is exactly the case of UK-based Ghanaian Gospel singer Joe Matthew (JM) whose dream of grabbing an opportunity to justify why he is currently the best Ghanaian Gospel musician manifested at this year’s ABN Gospelfest 2018 in London.

ABN Gospelfest, is an annual praises and worship musical concert organized by ABN TV/ Radio Station in London. This year’s event which had Multiple award-winning Gospel artist, Joe Mettle as the main artist took place at the Oasis House 5-9 Pall Road,Croydon.(London)

Though the ‘Artiste Of the Year’ winner at the 2017 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Joe Mettle has carved a niche for himself as a great performer, he couldn’t live up to expectations.

It’s actually the first time the ‘Bononi” crooner has been uninspiring with his performance ever since we went solo from the legendary Gospel music group; Soul Winners.

But the artiste who took the whole auditorium by storm with a master-Class performance is Joe Matthew aka JM.

Clad in all-black beautiful African apparel,at the time when the enthusiasm in the auditorium was down, Joe Matthew who spent 10 minutes on stage, restarted the entire ceremony by getting everyone singing and dancing to his popular tune ‘Hallelujah’.

The peak of Matthew’s unblemished performance was when he astonishingly performed a rendition of Nero X’s popular hiplife song ‘Nyame Dadaw”

His combination with the band, technique on the microphone, and his interaction with the patrons was pure class.

Undoubtedly, the Gospel Music prodigy did magnificently well and was truly the best entertainer on the night.

Other artistes who also performed apart from Joe Mettle and Joe Matthew include:Sammy Okposo, Andrew Bello and Shekinah.

Patrons and other showbiz personalities who graced the occasion applauded the organizers for billing the ‘Hallelujah’ singer Joe Matthew(JM) on the much-publicized event.

According to a London-based radio presenter who spoke with Razzonline.com after the event in anonymity, he would be extremely surprised if Joe Matthew doesn’t perform at this year’s Ghana Music Awards UK looking at his magnificent performance.
