Apparently, Ghanaians have realized that both Nigerian fans and DJs are not ready to support Ghanaian music like Ghanaians are supporting theirs.

Therefore award winning radio presenter and DJ at Happy 98.9 FM, Isaac Degraft Danquah known in showbiz as Deejay Advicer is advising fellow Ghanaian DJs and promoters to stop promoting Nigerian music.

In a social media post spotted by Wyse Brain of Asembi.com, Deejay Advicer, the winner of the Best Promoter award at Ghana DJ Awards 2018 shared a bitter experience of how a Nigerian DJ ignored Ghanaian songs even while in Ghana.

He posted: ”Hmmm am playing a show for one rich Naija man in Aburi and he brought a Dj from Naija, so I asked him if he knows Shatta Wale he said no. I took over after so much talking about Wale and played Gringo just for him to know who I was talking about and handed over to him. He keeps playing Naija songs.

I feel there is an Agenda by these Naija guys. Either they pretend not to know our Artistes or just don't want to play songs from GH. Make we do dem some wai. I bore ruff".

Recently Ghanaian artistes were disgraced at a show organised by MenzGold and Zylofon Media.

It was clear the Nigerians were not ready to patronise Ghanaian music but the promoters in Ghana are busily promoting theirs at the expense of their own artistes.
