Duncan Williams, Sefa Kayi, Sammi Awuku inspire thousands at iYES 2018

The 4th Edition of International Youth Empowerment Summit (iYES) came off at the National Theater on the 22nd – 24th August, 2018 in Accra.

Thousands of people mostly the youth trooped to the National Theater to experience an explosion of Inspiration, Motivation and God’s word which changes lives.

iYES 2018 delivered on it’s promise by bring together astute statesmen, religious leaders and leaders in governance, industry and academia under one roof with the youth.

It was a power packed event with a Morning Session beginning at and an Evening session.

Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams of Action Chapel International was the special guest speaker at this year’s summit.

iYES 2018 also showcase acclaimed broadcaster and host of Peace FM’s multiple award winning morning show “Kokrokoo” Chairman General Kwami Sefa Kayi interacting with young people in what can be described as an encounter with greatness inside and out.

Oheneyere Gifty Anti of “The Standpoint” on GTV fame who has been keen on women’s empowerment and youth development also shared her nuggets of wisdom at this year’s summit. She spoke about her new role as a mother, a wife and a women’s rights advocate leading an exemplary life to inspire young women.

Newly elected National Organiser of the ruling party NPP and Chairman of National Youth Authority Sammi Awuku spoke at the summit. He spoke about embracing the youth and creating opportunities for success to help improve the lives of young people.

Oil and Gas guru Kofi Aban also spoke at the event. He detailed how hard work and discipline can help one succeed in a very difficult environment.

Media personality and CEO of Excellencia Media Productions and, Smooch Fashion Boutique & Delay Mackerel, Deloris Frimpong Manso was on hand to lend her support and serve a heavy dose of motivation for the participants of this years summit.

Other notable speakers were Pastors Daniel and Samson Amoateng.

In a notable show of peacemaking, Brian Amoateng brought together feuding gospel musicians Brother Sammy and Ernest Opoku on the same stage were the 2 promised to let go of their differences and embraced in brotherly love.

iYES is an annual event which brings together acclaimed business and political leaders, motivational speakers and life coaches to share their experiences with young people to impact them positively for life’s journey.
