Akufo-Addo graces 2018 Chalewote Street Art Festival

President Akufo-Addo graced this year’s 8th edition of Chale Wote Street Art Festival which took place in Jamestown, Accra on Saturday, August 25, 2018.

Scores of people gathered to cheer and catch a glimpse of the first president to attend the art festival since its inception.

Nana Akufo-Addo who was accompanied by a delegation came to witness the event which has over the years been a catalyst for growth of the creative arts industry in Ghana.

Meanwhile, the climax of this year’s event which started on Monday 20th August 2018 in Accra saw several Ghana-based and international artists exhibit their works in different venues across the city.

With its huge patronage since its inception in 2011, Chale Wote 2018 was no different as scores flooded James Town with great anticipation and excitement as Music, dance, arts in painting, fashion were displayed.

The festival gives the platform for audiences to appreciate various talents from all specs and also create avenues where varied art pieces will be displayed and made available for purchase.
