Uncle Ebo Whyte advised that parents must learn to ease up a little on their wards.

In Africa, parents are mostly strict on their wards, and this includes making decisions for their wards to ensure that they do not go wayward whilst growing up.

This according to a report, does not only affect children's self-confidence but also affect their self - esteem as compared to western culture, where parents practice laissez-faire upbringing syle.
