Kumasi-based Ghanaian actress, Christian Awuni has revealed she once went to embattled doctor, Dominic Obeng Andoh of Advanced Body Sculpt Centre known as Obengfo Hospital to reduce her “heavy” backside.

According to Christiana Awuni, she was compelled to get her buttocks reduced about six years ago because it was too heavy for her to carry.

The “witch” Kumawood actress, however, says she was discouraged from undergoing the surgery when Dr. Obengfo quoted an amount of GHC30, 000 as her bill.

Christiana Awuni made these revelations in an interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso on the Delay Show.

“I went to Obengfo to reduce my buttocks because it was weighing me. After going through all the necessary procedures, he charged me GHC30, 000. I told him I’ll come back but I never did,” she said.

Asked why she wanted to get her backside reduced when others are looking for means to make theirs bigger, the actress said she wanted to look “smart”.

“I wanted to be smart. It was too heavy for me. I used to be fat but I tried working out that’s why I’ve reduced a bit. Men worry me sometimes because of my backside but I just don’t pay attention to them,” she explains.

Owner and doctor in charge of the Advanced Body Sculpt Centre known as Obengfo Hospital was recently charged with murder by an Accra Magistrate Court following the death of Stacy Offei Darko.

Stacy Offei Darko who was the Deputy CEO of National Entrepreneurship Innovative Programme (NEIP) had gone to the Obengfo hospital to allegedly undergo a liposuction.

She, however, died during the surgery and her body deposited at the morgue by Dr. Obengfo without informing the family of the deceased until three days later.

He was arrested and detained by Stacy’s family who were enraged by the development.
