Songstress Kati G has denied stealing the beat of Highly Spiritual for her maiden original titled: “Na You.”

In less than 24 hours after releasing the song featuring Reynolds The Gentleman, Highly Spiritual released a statement claiming ownership of the beat of the song.

According to them, they have owned the beat for close to two years.
However, speaking in an interview with KOD on “The Zone”, Kati G stated that she paid for the beat of Gregory Ankrah at an amount of Gh¢500 and will never engage in theft.

“As a professional, I’ll never condone any illegal activity and I went through the right process before releasing my song. I’ve been doing this for long and will not do anything contrary to ruin my career,” the budding singer said on Wednesday.

She said Highly Spiritual has tarnished her image by tagging her as a “liar” and a “thief” and demanded an apology.

Speaking on the same show on Starr FM, Greg, who is a former team member of Highly Spiritual musical team said that he accidentally sent her the beat which happens to be produced by Dat Beat God.

Titled ‘Na You’, is a song that defines all meanings and aspects of love. The captivating lyrics takes one to a higher level of love.

‘Na You’, which was released today features Reynolds The Gentleman.
“Sometimes we forget to define the meaning of our relationships or the meaning of who our partners are to us. If we can’t think of it or say it, this new song does it for us,” the budding singer said ahead of the released.

‘Na You’ is Kati G’s first original. Prior to this song, the former radio producer and voice over expert has released successful cover songs such as ‘You & Me’ by Joey B, and ‘Skintight’ by Mr. Eazy, Flavor’s ‘Baby You’ and Teckno’s Pana
