Becca unveils new music video 'Sumye'

Ghanaian highlife chanteuse, Becca (Rebecca Acheampong), announces new visuals from her recent album, “Unveiling”. The video complements “Sumye”, which translates from Twi as “pillow”

Penned by Okyeame Quophi, the tender record discusses love gone sour. It was directed by Capital Dreams.

Consisting 13 songs, “Unveiling” was released last year, to coincide with her 10th anniversary in active music, and reportedly took 15 months to make. The record, released under ZYLOFON Music, features Patoranking, Kofi Kinaata, Mr. Eazi and a host of other esteemed local and international colleagues.

Becca is author of two other albums: Sugar (2007), and Time 4 Me (2013).

She’s also recipient of several honours including multiple Ghana Music Awards and 4Syte TV Music Video Awards. She has been associated with 2Baba, M.I, Ice Prince, Bisa KDei, Uluru, Hugh Masekela among others.
