Fumey Faraday brings back memories of Femi Osofisan's 'Women of Owu' with a stage drama

On many accounts, the creative arts industry have seen movie directors come and go, but Fumey Kafui Faraday a movie director and a final year student of the University of Ghana, Legon keeps doing the unthinkable.

The young female movie director, got students of Legon and other patrons loving her craft, holding a three-day stage theatre drama "Women Of Owu" during the Easter Festivities.

The event receiving an impressive number of attendance depicted in-depth roots of African culture and got audience reflecting on Femi Osofisan's novel.

Auditioning for the best, Faraday had all its cast being students and for the three days, they kept audience calling for more.

The Stage Drama "Women Of Owu" was held at the Efua Sutherland drama studio, University Of Ghana, Legon.
