All the labels that have approached me so far are substandard – Kofi Kinaata

After parting ways with High-Grade Family, music enthusiasts especially fans of Kofi Kinaata were looking forward to hearing from the artiste to announce his new label on time. But it’s been three months now but Kofi Kinaata remains label-less.

Although Kofi Kinaata claims he has been approached by not less than 10 individuals and record labels after announcing his High-Grade Family exit.

However, according to him, none of them has been able to meet his demands leaving him without a label.

“The brand Kofi Kinaata is big and I need a record label or individual who will lift my brand to the next level and not bring it down. That is why I have had to turn those who approached me down,” he told Graphic Showbiz.

In an interview soon after he left High-Grade, the Confession hitmaker told Showbiz he needed a serious manager who would take his brand to higher heights and he insists that is still his number one priority.

“All I demand is someone who can get me good deals and take me international,” he said.

Kinaata said as much as he wants to be signed on he will not rush and make the mistake of signing onto just any record label.
