It’s not a sin to listen to secular songs – Prophet

The founder and leader of Faith Anointing International Ministries, Prophet Prince Kofi Okyere has said his prayers worked for Ofori Amponsah in the year 2005 for him to be adjudged the best Ghanaian musician for the year 2005 during Ghana Music Awards organized by Charterhouse.

It will be recalled that during the year 2006 Ofori Amponsah picked up seven awards at the Ghana Music Awards held in Accra last night.

He won the Song of the Year award, with his hit track Otoolege, which also won him the most popular Song of the year award. He also picked up the album of the year, artiste of the year and the contemporary highlife song of the year awards.

“I felt I had to intercede for Ofori Amponsah to win an award, I have never met Ofori Amponsah before, I told those who were around me to join me so that we can pray for him, we prayed and did all I was supposed to do and in that year he won seven awards.” – Prophet Prince Kofi Okyere told host of Onua 95.1 fm’s Christian Agyei Frimpong

According to the man of God, he sees nothing wrong with a Christian listening to love songs or secular music because there are many secular songs that have catchy melodies, thoughtful insights, and positive messages.
