Kin Frenzee replaces Castro

Versatile artiste, Francis Kingsley Prah aka Kin Frenzee who is known for almost every genre of music is a perfect replacement for Ghanaian talented artiste Castro who hasn’t been heard of after the Ada incident.

Born to a singing Christian family, Kin Frenzee started music at a tender age as a church boy who sang with the Methodist Junior Choir at Sekondi in the Western Region, where he was born.

Professionally, Frenzee has an album to his credit; titled Show Me which featured the likes of Dr Cryme, Castro da destroyer, ASA Khalifa, Kofi B, Nhyiraba Kojo, Akatakyie and Nero X.

The talented artiste has so many singles to his credit after releasing his first album in 2000. He is hoping to release his second album anytime soon and it promises to be mega.

Anigye ft. Castro, Show me ft. Danso Abiam, Ebeshiwo ft. KK Fosu, Too Fine ft. Nana Quame, Odopa ft. Nero X, You x me ft. Skrew Face are some of the mind blowing songs done by Frenzee. Clearly, his versatility and hard work has over the years given him the upper hand over most of the musicians in the country by working with other great and talented artistes.

In an exclusive interview with www.flexgh.com, Kin Frenzee believes presenters and Disc Jockeys can’t survive without Ghanaian musicians since they rely on them for music and also for their private events.

According to the artiste, his focus is not mainly in Ghana, but outside the country where he is receiving massive airplay on radio. United Kingdom, Canada, America, Holland, and other places are where he has been accepted so much. He is also been nominated at the Ghana Music Awards, UK for all his good works.

He made mention that, he doesn’t care so much about the Ghanaian media if they decide not to give him the necessary push he desires as an artiste for producing all the great songs over the years.

He is of that strong opinion that musicians are not supposed to pay before they get their songs played. He believes it is the main reason why dancehall artiste Shatta Wale, reigned curses on the Ghanaian media all because they don’t support the artistes.

“How can we the artistes survive if every presenter in Ghana is asking us to pay at least GHc 100.00? We can’t just pay. Where do we get the money from? This doesn’t even include television promotion. Some of us don’t have producers, yet we produce good music which is enjoyed by many,” Kin Frenzee fumed.

With his style, voice and direction of music, one can simply say Kin Frenzee is an incarnation of Castro who is making it globally with his songs.

Aside being a professional musician, Frenzee is a trained mechanical engineer. He studied for his degree at the University of Mines and Technology, Tarkwa in Ghana. He has graced a number of music concerts in Ghana, Cote d’ voire, Nigeria, Turkey, Holland and the UK.

He is set to release a gospel tune on the 29th April, 2018 titled Surprise featuring London based gospel artiste, Ohemaa Jackey. Follow him on the various social media platforms and have a resonating experience with him.
