Movie Producer stabbed at Maame Serwaa’s mum’s funeral

After a galaxy of stars trooped to the funeral grounds of the late Rose Benson, actress Maame Serwaa’s mum, Kumawood movie producer Armstrong Poleeno Addae fell into the hands of an assailant.

Poleeno as he is popularly known in the Kumawood industry was stabbed in the neck after the unknown person asked him for his phones.

Speaking to Zionfelix.net Sunday morning after the tragedy, the victim disclosed that the misfortune happened around 7pm, minutes after the funeral had closed.

The ‘Dream Girl’ movie producer telling Zionfelix.net his story revealed that he was walking from the park where the funeral happened to the roadside to pick a car when he met the attacker. He added that the assailant requested for his phones and money after he pulled out a knife.

Poleeno who was not willing to lose his life gave him his Samsung phone but failed to add his iPhone 7 plus which was in his pocket. The assailant upon seeing the phone in his pocket asked for it. According to the moviemaker, the attacker stabbed him in the neck when he was removing the iPhone 7 plus for him.

He continued that the attacker fled when two unknown persons bumped unto the scene.

Armstrong Poleeno Addae graduated from the University of Education, Kumasi campus in May 2017.
