Meet Jeffter Kwaah, Ghanaian footballer turned model in Norway

However, in a world where playing football has become so lucrative especially in European countries, who will think of quitting the beautiful game to pursue his modeling and entrepreneurial ambitions?

There surely must be a first time of a unique story untold.

Well, meet Jeffter Ohene Kwaah, a Ghanaian living in Norway who runs a barbering shop and also works as a model.

He has had super stars such as Rick Ross, The Game, Wyclef Jean, Sarkodie patronize his Edge Barbering Shop in three different cities.

The young Ghanaian models for Surface Model Management based in New York, United States of America.

The native of Akim Adusua in the Eastern region, started his career as a professional footballer with Norwegian club Strindheim TF.

He had stints with Ghana National Under 20 side and was part of the team’s camping in 2010-2011.

With this bright prospect of becoming one of Ghana’s celebrated footballers and of course adding more zeros to his bank account, one would wonder why anyone will turn his back on the game that changed the financial fortunes of the likes of Asamoah Gyan and Emmanuel Adebayor.

However, Jeffter reveals that he had plans of furthering his football career but always knew that he wouldn’t play for long due to his quest to achieve his other dreams.



The qualified plumbing engineer currently works in a civil engineering company called Caverion in Norway.

Jeffter is the CEO of Edge Barber Shop in Trondheim and serves as International Relations Manager of Duvet Ghana.

His entrepreneurial drive knows no bounds as he intends establishing new businesses in some parts of Africa.

Though he handles multiple jobs, Jeffter Kwaah’s love for modeling keeps him on set for several hours.
