Rap artiste, Kwaw Kese is not happy with the Musicians Union Association of Ghana (MUSIGA's) idea that any Ghanaian artiste who wants to attend the annual Presidential Grand Ball should buy a table for GHC10,000.

The communication team of MUSIGA at a press gathering held on Friday, January 12 told the media that the Grand Ball was organised to raise funds for the old musicians.

According to them, each table at the show was sold for GHC10,000 and musicians were required to pay the said amount for a table.

Meanwhile Kwaw Kese took to social media to express his displeasure.

He questioned the public if the union’s statement makes sense. Speaking on Peace FM Saturday afternoon, 'Abodam' expressed disappointment in the leaders of the Musician's Association for bringing up such an idea.

Disappointed as he seemed, he could not fathom why MUSIGA would ask musicians to pay Gh10,000 before attending a show organised for them.

“I’ve heard MUSIGA has said that they sold tables for Grand Ball so if I want to attend I should also buy one for Gh10,000. Does that make sense? MUSIGA telling me to purchase a table after doing music for 12 years and counting. Instead of the association fighting for me, they are rather asking me to buy a table at Grand Ball for Gh10,000. Is Obour being a president to me” peeved Kwaw Kese told host of the show.

The event saw performances from Kwame Eugene, Daddy Lumba, Kojo Antwi, Sista Afia and Gallaxy.
