Shatta Wale is yet to render public apology for publicly assaulting his bodyguard at the 2017 edition of the S-Concert which was held at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday.

The controversial dancehall artiste has demonstrated that he is not a peaceful man at all, as he gave his bodyguard a heavy slap while performing on stage.

The bodyguard’s crime was that he prevented a fan from climbing the stage when Shatta was performing. That warranted a ‘dirty’ slap, as if to say that’s the only way to correct him on how to handle a Shatta fan.

The attack on the bodyguard, however, comes almost a year after Shatta mounted big stages to perform and preach to Ghanaians to live and behave in a peaceful way towards one another before, during and after the 2016 general elections.

The incident attracted different reactions on social media circles, with many condemning the attack.

Many thought Shatta would have publicly apologised for his actions since it has got a lot to do with the kind of message he is sending out there, both locally and internationally as a Ghanaian brand.

But, he doesn’t seem to show any remorse for his action.

He rather sent a warning to media houses not to think about interviewing the bodyguard.

“Nobody should think of Interview for my bodyguard .. He wont even answer you ..He is loyal and he understands the SMCODE ..hey folks today i want you guys to know SHATTA MOVEMENT IS BEYOND MUSIC….Sort your lives out cuz am living mine in a grand style..Biggie Sparta too Loyal (sic)…,” he wrote on his various social media platforms clearly, showing he is not perturbed.

Meanwhile, a lot of fingers are being pointed at Shatta for some artistes’ inability to perform at the S-Concert. Samini, Mr Eazi and Ebony were some of the lead artistes who could not perform.

Samini left the venue after he waited for almost four hours after the time organisers promised he would perform.

Samini later took to social media to explain why he didn’t perform, hinting on time factor amidst allegations that “Shatta performed over time”.

But Shatta replied, saying, “Last year I performed at 4:48am till 7am so if u say u can’t perform after I performed today my brother you aint an artiste ..watch last year pix and stop the rubbish talk … #Karma SM fans if this is what will happen then we will do our own stadium shows from 2018.”(sic)
