DJ Switch set to 'wow' fans at RTP 2017

Burgeoning young Disc Jockey, Erica Tandoh, known in showbiz and entertainment as DJ Switch, has revealed that she is going to exhibit her skills on the turntables at this year’s Radio and Television Personality Awards.

In a video posted on Instagram, the winner of TV3’s Kids Talent Show, “Talented Kidz” announced her participation in the awards ceremony to her fans and follower as she rehearsed.

The Awards ceremony is scheduled for October 28 and it is going to take place at the Accra International Conference Center, the young star revealed.

Erica Tandoh rose to fame when she participated in the talent show and eventually emerged the winner.

She was noted for her dance moves and impeccable song choice during each performance.

After being crowned Ghana’s most talent kid, she was given a shot to perform at the prestigious Ghana Meets Nigeria where she thrilled patrons of the show with her skills.

This year’s Radio and Television Personality Awards has attracted some from of controversy, as issues relating to its success keep coming up.

There was a communication from the office of the vice president, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, about his withdrawal from the ceremony.

There was also the issue of the alleged amount being offered to Patapaa to book his service for the night.

It had been reported that the artiste was being offered GHC1,000 to perform at the event, an amount his management thought was woefully inadequate to secure the services of their artiste.

After the news went viral, Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, a music producer who is popularly known in the showbiz industry as Bulldog, said that the amount was disrespectful to Patapaa.

He further advised the musician to charge between GHC10,000 and GHC20,000 for the event.
