‘Daa Ke Daa’ hitmaker and Zylofon Media signee, Rebecca Akosua Acheampomaa Acheampong, popularly called Becca, had a mega concert at the National Theater on Saturday, October 21, 2017, to climax the series of activities planned for her decade anniversary in music.

Becca’s mum and dad, Julie Yiadom-Oti and Isaac Acheampong were present at their daughter’s decade anniversary concert, and they were seated right in front of the stage to enjoy the event.

Becca as we all know today, became a household name on the back of EKB Records, managed by Kiki Banson. Becca and Kiki Banson’s journey started quite rough with her scandalous withdrawal from TV3’s Mentor 2 musical competition for being tested for HIV without her knowledge.

She subsequently sued the television station with Kiki’s backing and this instantly made Becca famous – followed by her first classic hit single “U lied to me” featuring Kwabena Kwabena.

Through EKB Record’s par excellence managerial efforts, Becca, has not only become a great musician, but has won several awards (both home and abroad), played major musical concerts (home and abroad), had several brand ambassadorial deals, traveled extensively, met revered personalities in Arts, Diplomatic, Academia, Political and Leadership circles, among other achievements.

Though Becca and Kiki’s professional working relationship came to an end in 2014, the name Kiki Banson, should not be skipped when the list of those who have helped Becca reach where she is today are mentioned.

Irrespective of all the past sour grapes, Becca’s mother, after being introduced to the audience, did the needful – by thanking Kiki Banson for believing in Becca and developing her craft, at a time even her own parents, did not endorse her talent or would have invested in her

Top stars from Ghana who supported Becca to celebrate her decade commemoration included MzVee, Kidi, Kuami Eugene, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, and Shatta Michy, Kwabena Kwabena, VVIP, Joyce Blessing and many others.

From Nigeria with love, the green, white and green team had M.I Abaga, Wizkid, Patoranking, Wande Coal, Mr. Eazi, Ice Prince and many others.
