Barbara Mahama celebrates birthday as she awaits conviction of husband's 'killers'

Madam Barbara Mahama is a year older today, September 26 and Ghanaians are wishing the bereaved God’s blessings and strength.

Barbara is wife of the late Major Maxwell Adam Mahama who was gruesomely killed by residents of Denkyira Obuasi in the Central Region of Ghana.

The military officer was lynched to death by residents on suspicion that he was an armed robber on May 29, 2017.

The police have so far arrested 22 persons alleged to be involved in the lynching of Major Mahama.

The suspects are before the court. On Monday, September 25, the lawyer for the suspects told the court his clients have been wrongly accused.

The case has been adjourned to October 10. Meanwhile, Barbara and Ghanaians await just for a hero, Maxwell Adam Mahama.
