President Akufo-Addo and First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo were the centre of attraction at the 72nd UN General Assembly in the USA, where they have been sharing all the adoring moments.

The couple was pictured looking all love-up as ever in what many Ghanaians are describing as a ‘presidential romance.’

President Akufo-Addo was seen bursting out a toothpaste smile as the first lady planted a kiss on his cheeks.

The shot was reportedly taken shortly after what has been described as the president’s sterling speech performance at the UN General Assembly.

The photo went viral over the weekend, with many online platforms giving it different interpretations. Some platforms said the kiss was a gift from the first lady to President Akufo-Addo for his performance. He didn’t only make her proud but the entire country Ghana, and possibly Africa as a continent.

For the first time since assuming office as the president of the country, President Akufo-Addo addressed the 72nd United Nations General Assembly meeting in New York, US on Thursday.

The president could be seen beaming with excitement as his wife planted the kiss on his cheeks.
