Tic Tac Sets The Pace

Tic Tac
As a teenager, Nana Kwaku Duah a.k.a Tic Tac was a member of the short- lived group Natty Strangers. Due to creative differences, he eventually left to pursue a solo career. Since then, he has blessed the stage at such occasions as Tropical Showcase in the UK, Kenny?s Easter Jam in Nigeria and a whole lot in Ghana.

His upcoming album titled ?Wope? features international artistes like Tony Tetuila from Nigeria and Freddy Meiway of Togo. He is now set to blaze the music industry with this album since it has an Anglophone artiste and a Francophone artiste on.

The album opens with a track titled ?Kwani Kwani? which is being backed by NBA, Akua Gyamfua, and Angela Brifo. It is followed by the sensational hit track ?Wope? featuring the famous Freddy Meiway of Togo. This tune makes eavesdroppers rewind their compact discs and cassettes one, two or even three times.

?Fefe Na Efe? featuring one of the top Nigerian stars by name Tony Tetuila comes third on the album. Anytime this song is being played in Ghana and Nigeria, the fans put on their dancing shoes. ?Angela? featuring VIP (top award winners at the Ghana Music Awards), ?Push? featuring Tinny (new artiste of the year 2003) and ?Yaa Densoa? which features Aberewa Nana follow in order.

The ?Most Wanted? as some people call him has other tracks like ?Menkasen?, ?Curiousity? featuring Jeho, ?Mepewo?, ?Mpu Ni Mpu? on the album. An instrumental of the famous track ?Fefe Na Fefe? closes the album.

Rhyming in English and Twi (a local Ghanaian dialect), Tic Tac is here to set the pace for other musicians to follow since he is the only Ghanaian artiste who has gone international. The album is designed to reunite Africans and put them under one umbrella.

Tic Tac?s last words were ?I thank all my fans for supporting me through thick and thin.?
