Ghanaian Reggae gospel artiste, Akesse Brempong has hailed the astronomical growth of the Gospel Industry in Ghana.

According to him, although Ghana’s Gospel industry cannot be likened to that of South Africa and Nigeria, there has been great improvement in the industry.

“Formerly, contemporary Gospel was not part of gospel music in Ghana but currently, it is at the forefront of gospel music and that should tell you our industry has come of age. Yes we cannot compare our industry to that of Nigeria and South Africa but the growth within this short period is very monumental,” he told A1 Radio’s Kofi Asante.

Speaking on where he sees himself in the industry in the next five to ten years, the Gospel Musician said “he is working as the ‘wherehouse’ of God and is hoping to reconcile the hearts of individual youth to the lord adding that he hopes to be touring nations”.
