I deserve to win the overall best DJ of the year - Mr Kaxtro

As the Ghana DJ Awards comes off today, the debate of who wins the topmost award still goes on all over the media circles.

One of Ghana's best DJs, Mr Kaxtro has disclosed that he deserves to win the Best DJ of the Year.

Aside being confident of defending the Scratch DJ of The Year Award which the won last year, Kaxtro asserts his performance during the year under review speaks for itself.
“Per my achievements throughout 2016/17, I think I deserve to win the Overall Best DJ. My works under the year of preview has proven itself".

Mr Kaxtro, has over the years been the official DJ for every major event in Kumasi and beyond and also been the only DJ to work with the dancehall champion, Shatta Wale whenever the artiste goes to perform at the Northern sector of the country.

Mr Kaxtro won the Best DJ of the Year, Ashanti Region at this year’s Foklex Media Awards.

He is the host of Ultimate FM's weekend flagship program, Club Arena which airs on Fridays and Saturdays from 8pm to 12midnight and features Foster Aggor and MC Lyrical

The Ghana Dj Awards is set to come off today, May 6 at the Silver Star Tower, Airport City in Accra.

The nominees for the Overall Best DJ of the year are DJ Vision, DJ Black, DJ Mic Smith, DJ Vyrusky, DJ Mensah, DJ Andy Dosty, and Mr Kaxtro.
