I get inspired to write good songs during sex – Sound engineer reveals

Ghanaian sound engineer/musician Daniel Owusu Agyapong, popularly known as Danny Beatz has revealed how sex forms an essential component in his music career.

He made the disclosure during an interview session with Sokoohemaa on Accra based Rainbow Radio about his new single “TRUE LOVE”.

According to the ‘Tokro’ singer, he’s mostly able to compose good songs during intense sexual bout with his partner.

However, Danny Beatz was quick to add that he goes back to continue his sexual activity after penning down the words in order to keep the lady’s orgasm at high peak.

“I don’t really rush in doing music and with this song, the inspiration was different and crazy. I was having sex, the lady made a noise then the inspiration got to me so I had to tell the lady to let me go and record the song because that brings the money. I entered the studio, started playing the piano and strings to keep me in the mood.

“I went back to continue the sex because I was in the mood and needed to drop things down so i can be free so if i say I wrote this song then am lying to you”, he concluded.

Danny Beatz has worked with popular artists like Guru, Mzbel, Ofori Amponsah, Castro among others.
