Ghanaian comedy has come under the spotlight many times, mostly for the negative reasons. Many analysts say Ghanaian comedians are not funny.

Others say they do not speak good English therefore their inability to express themselves well. Others have compared them to their Nigerian counterparts claiming that the Nigerians are much better than Ghanaians.

Well, Laughline may have answered the question of whether or not the Ghanaian comedian is funny.

This month's event which saw a packed auditorium had a theme centered on the rampant suicides the country has been experiencing and all the comedians did a joke or gave some advise on the negative effects of suicide.

It was a night of laughter and music as patrons who thronged the Silverbird cinemas were treated to great and hilarious jokes at the 7th edition of Laughline that saw comedians OB Amponsah, Foster Romanus, Nino and James Brown.

James Brown opened the stage with hilarious jokes that got the audience laughing so loud. His theme centered around suicide and the strength of the old and new generation in their ability to solve issues that leads to suicide.

The next to take stage was Nino, Nino focused on change and did great stunts. He also used the angle of tribe and described how each tribe speaks on the phone. The audience couldn't have enough of him.

DKB surprised everybody when he was called on stage because his name was not on the list and as usual he got the audience laughing so hard. He chose to ridicule John Dumelo for the V8 issue. He also touched on the hypocrisy of Ghanaians and our inability to adhere to time.

OB Amponsah the Dr comedian took over after DKB and talked about trending issues. He used the indiscipline in Parliament as his angle tracing the day he presented the state of the nations address. It was a good performance and all in the auditorium couldn't stop laughing.

Foster Romanus rounded up Laughline with something crazy! He played on Counselor Lutterodt who was in the auditorium to watch the event.
