Ghana Actors Guild elections set for April

The Ghana Actors Guild, national have announced that their elections for new executives will be held on the 29th of April this year.

This came across during their national meeting on 17th February, 2017 in Accra where players in the movie industry from across the various regions of Ghana sat on a round table to discuss about the progress of the association.

According to the guild, nominations for the various portfolios are opened from 17th to 22nd of February with the main elections slated on the 29th of April this year.

The following executive positions are opened to contest for; Chairman, Vice Chairman, Welfare Officer, among others with their tenure of office lasting for a year.

They however called on their members to register and renew their membership from now through to 22nd of March this year.

Notable faces who were present at the time of the meeting were, Ekow Smith Asante, Bismark The Joke, Mr Akonu Dake, Akorfa, Mr Frank Idan, among others
