Mr. Eazi throws shade at Ghana Music Awards organizers

Last year, Vodafone Ghana Music Awards more or less barred Skintight hitmaker, Mr. Eazi from the VGMAs.

According to them, Mr. Eazi is not a Ghanaian so doesn’t deserve any nominations in the VGMAs except the African Artiste of the year category.

Even though he grew up here in Ghana and even schooled here in Ghana and yes, even staying here in Ghana, he still doesn’t merit a place in the VGMAs.

Well over the weekend, Ghana Music Awards-UK nominated him in Ghanaian categories where he won big the Afrobeat artiste of the year as well as best video of the year with Anointing.

Mr. Eazi on thanking the organizers of Ghana Music Awards-UK, stressed on the fact that award organizers should recognize talents beyond Nationality. According to him, it should rather be the amount of impact the music has made in the Ghanaian music scene.
