Meet Miss Annabelle Naa Ayorkor GIJ’s most promising CEO

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sparkplug Ghana, Miss Annabelle Naa Ayorkor Agbemadon of the Ghana Institute of Journalism, (GIJ) shines as her platform empowers more students of the institute with two exceptionally brilliant but needy students to access the Ollennu Scholarship.

She has really drawn the light upon herself with the successes chalked so far by her organization;

Sparkplug Ghana with its recent most educative and informative event which benefited most students on campus.

It was dubbed “LET’S TALK,” under the theme: “Career Guidance” being the second initiative of the group’s mega event since inception a year ago.

The recently held ground-breaking program also coincided with the launch of the Ollennu Scholarship scheme aimed at supporting “exceptionally brilliant but needy students” in the Institute.

Miss Annabelle, currently a student of GIJ is the brain behind all the great feats achieved by the student group; Sparkplug Ghana.

Currently Annabelle is gunning for 3 prestigious awards; Most promising woman leader of the year, Woman personality of the year, and Woman led organization of the year in the Ghana Tertiary Women's Awards 2016 race so that she could wield much influence to effectively to run interesting programs on campus with the aim of arming students to the teeth in order to meet the rudiments of the corporate world.

The young promising CEO telling her personal story recounted how she went through difficulties in life trying to educate her in the past at the time when her father’s company got burnt to ashes leaving him totally handicapped to cater for his daughter’s school fees.

Annabelle reminisced how she went through loneliness at that time since most of friends had abandoned her looking at the queer life she went through at the time.

She however noted such bizarre experiences rather turned into her source of energy to come out with wonderful programmes to bring life and hope to many students on campus in order to help them overcome similar challenges she went through in the past.

Annabelle’s recent event on the campus attracted prominent speakers including; Miss Sheila Enuson, CEO Prime Shade Limited, Nii Amaa Ollennu, Vice President of Chamber of Commerce, Italy and Mrs. Rodaline Amartey a lecturer of GIJ.

For her, the mission of her existence in school “is to help empower students and the youth to achieve greater heights by providing a platform to engage motivate and mentor students to help them to be creative and innovate in diverse ways.”
