In this week’s edition of Flex newspaper, Kumasi-based movie producer extraordinaire Mr. Clement Amankwa, C E O of Christian Movies Ghana has pointed one of the major problems for the inactiveness of some of the members of FIPAG in Kumasi.

Delving deep into the issue, Mr. Clement lamented that although there are a lot of problems facing the Film Producers Association of Ghana since the days of Idikoko, the major one among all is the use of the English language during our general meetings.

“Personally, I believe when a local language is spoken during meetings members understanding of matters discoursed becomes easy and also feels comfortable to express themselves,” he said.

He added that some of them end up swallowing their good ideas because they flow comfortably in Twi than in the English language.

Clement has the following movies on the market: Homeda, Duabo, It is Well, Wrong Attack, Nipa Sei Nipa, Asoreba and public matters TV series on Adom TV.
