Obrafour calls for rallying behind Mzvee

Hip-life music legend, Obrafour has called on fellow musicians and the entire Ghanaians to rally behind Mzvee as she climbs a step ahead to the BET.

According to the Nkontompo hitmaker, even though some people may have personal reservations about her nomination, they should not forget she is a Ghanaian and will need the support of all Ghanaians.

"Sometimes, not all what we wish for are granted by God. Even though some other artistes did well and deserved the nomination, we should also not forget she is a Ghanaian and when she wins, she wins for Ghana. Whatever your thoughts were, there's nothing we can do to turn it. Everybody performed well under the year of review. Looking at Shatta Wale, EL, Bisa Kdei etc, all of them did well but if it has gone on Mzvee's side I believe she needs our support. He told DJ Premier on Accra FM.

The Best Female Vocalist of the Year(Mzvee) has been nominated in the BET Awards in the African category of Best International Act.

Her nomination has come with a lot of surprise with some Ghanaians questioning her nomination.
