I won't tell you whether I smoke ‘wee’ or not - Ambolley

Veteran highlife musician, Gyedu Blay Ambulley says he can’t tell whether he smokes marijuana or not.

Ambulley, who has been advocating for the legalization of the banned substance in recent times , could not tell Atinka FM listeners if he smokes the illegal stuff or not , saying it was a personal thing .

“That’s a personal experience which I can’t say on radio,” the self-acclaimed originator of rap music told Candy Man, host of Atinka FM Entertainment show Saturday .

He reiterated his call for the legalization of marijuana, saying some countries legalized the product after realizing its medicinal content. "Let's legalize it so we can benefit from it as a nation," he said.

Ambolley debunked the widely-held view that , marijuana distort the thinking ability of people , saying it is incumbent on users to stop using the product if it’s not good for their system . “It does not mean it’s bad,” the 'Simigwa' king quickly added.
