Photos: Kalybos wins 'Best Student' award at NAFTI graduation

Ghanaian comic actor Richard Asante popularly known as Kalybos, graduated from the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI) this year.

Kalybos who has already taken off to a successful career in acting graduated with a 4-year degree in Cinematography.

Entertainment Ghana can confirm that the actor also won the best student award in Cinematography for the graduating year.

Kalybos who graduated with 24 others came out with a second class low. In an interview the Boys Kasa fame, he said the school has given him a lot and he doesn't think the certificate is what he will use to go in for a job but rather the skills he acquired from the institute is what that matters.

Recently, Silverbirds Cinema declared the premiere of a movie he featured in, "Amakye & Dede" as the most attended ever at the Accra and West Hills Mall.

Amakye & Dede which was produced by Kofas Media featured other renowned Ghanaian actors like Majid Michel, John Dumelo, Kalybos, Ahuofe Patricia, Roselyn Ngissah, Emelia Brobbey, Yaw Dabo, Apostle John Prah, Grace Nortey, Moesha Boduong and many others.
