Photos: 'Kumkum Bhagya' host, Adwoa Saah marries

Adwoa Saah, actress and host of Adom TV’s popular telenovela, ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ got married to her long-time boyfriend on Saturday, March 19, at the Action Chapel in Accra.

The rather simple and private ceremony was attended by family and friends including hiplife artist, Coded of 4×4 fame and Ghanaian businessman, Oscar Yao Doe.

Adwoa, who represented the Ashanti Region in the 2007 edition of TV3’s hit reality TV show, ‘Ghana’s Most Beautiful’ emerged the 2nd runner-up in the competition, launching her media career thereafter. Adwoa speaks impeccable English and Ashanti Twi, making her suitable for a variety of jobs.

It was therefore, a matter of time that she got the opportunity to host ‘Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2008 Magazine show’ on TV3. Adwoa was soon drafted to host the ‘Easy Text Game Show’ as well as a co-host for ‘Onie ‘all on TV3.

Having proved herself screen, she decided to take a shot at radio and that took her to Kesben FM in Kumasi. From there she joined the Multimedia Group Limited in 2011, as host of The Premiere on Cine Afrik for a short period before leaving for school in the United Kingdom.

Adwoa got the opportunity to host the Entertainment Review Show on Joy Prime, on her return from the United Kingdom. She also got to host one of the most impactful shows on Adom TV, called ‘Barima Nkwan’, where she hosts men of stature as they show their skills in the kitchen.
