The most anticipated beach edition of the Loud in GH musical concert hosted by YFM, the best entertainment radio station in the country, came off with a bang at the Labadi Beach.

The high expectations of the public during the build-up to this event were exceeded by the great performances and the various side attractions on the night.

The night started with performances by the finalist of the YCE Star search competition aimed at unearthing talents from the youth. The beach body dance contest was another opening performance which sent the whole place agog and added to the excitement on the night.

Mrs Naomi Nelson-Barnes, Head of Corporate Communications, Global Media Alliance Broadcast Company, the mother company of YFM, said, ‘’we are happy this year’s Loud in GH has taken a higher level and more people have been given an opportunity to participate. The beach setting has made the event very unique and increased the excitement of patrons.’’ She added that YFM will continue to explore more innovative ways of entertaining its audience and the general public each year.

Dade Opanka’s opening act was fantastic; he displayed his rapping skills and the positive response he received from the crowd got him to continue giving off his best on the night.

Dancehall sensation Kaakie increased the fire on the night followed by the evergreen MzVee who as usual moved the crowd with her hit songs and general stage craft.

Pappy Kojo was also definitely not missing in action as his announcement on stage saw people running from different corners of the beach to come and watch his performance.

R2Bees, EL and Bisa Kdei amplified the tempo of the event with their lovely performances. They proved why they are among the top artistes in Ghana and why fans continue to call for them.

The BET award winner, Stonebwoy finally took the stage late in the night to entertain the huge crowd and he showed why he is currently the most sought after artiste in Ghana. He performed most of his hit songs which generated massive chants from the crowd.

This beach edition of Loud in GH was spectacular and proved extremely successful as it moved away from the usual auditorium style concert and hence gave opportunity to more people to be part of it.
