Miss Ghana UK finals Oct. 24

Akwaaba UK, organizers of the annual Miss Ghana UK pageant have announced the finals of this year’s event will be held on October 24.

The event will be held at the Camden Centre (1 Judd Street, London).

Some fourteen ladies are competing for the prestigious honour of being crowned Miss Ghana UK for the next one year.

Also at stake, is a lifetime opportunity for the winner to become ambassador of the Miss Ghana UK Foundation.

Thousands of Ghanaians and other African nationals are expected to attend the event.

“Currently, the African entertainment calendar is not complete without the very popular Miss Ghana UK pageant with every one looking out for the event on a yearly basis. On authority, I can tell you this year’s edition will be bigger and better with a whole new experience,” Dennis Tawiah, Event Manager of Akwaaba UK says.

Miss Ghana UK is “open to young ladies of Ghanaian descent residing in the United Kingdom, between the ages of 18 and 25 years.”
