Concentrate on your Reggae career – Sean Taylor tells Black Rasta

Fast rising dance hall artiste, Theophilus Tettey Taylor, known by his stage name as Sean Taylor has advised the Host of Taxi Driver on Hitz Fm, Black Rasta to stay away from dancehall music and concentrate on how to better his reggae career.

He said the Ghanaian Reggae musician is doing well with his reggae music however he needs to better it.

“He should better his corner, because he is doing well in brightening his corner through music and leave dancehall music for those of us who are doing it. We are going to make sure dancehall continues and grow,” he added.

Sean Taylor shared his disagreement with the view that dancehall music in Ghana does not have future because it incurs one to speak the patois language.

The “Everybody bard” hit maker said dancehall music in Ghana is growing and has become the biggest thing in Ghana now with a brighter future; especially when for two continuous years, a dancehall artist has won the artist of the year.

Dancehall, which is an international genre of music is growing. It is not only loved in Ghana, but in Africa, some part of America, Europe and even in Asia.
