Rapper Edem, has revealed his intention to quit music after he releases his fourth album.
The ‘Koene’ hitmaker in an interview on Adom FM in Accra late Thursday, said his plan before he started music was to release 40 albums before he retires from active music but that has changed.
The rapper added that even though he has recorded countless songs with different music producers, he will plead with them not to release those tracks after he retires from active music.
Speaking on collaborations after his retirement, Edem made it clear that he will resist that because it will go against the musicians he will work with since he will not get the opportunity to be on stage to perform the collaborated songs with them.
“My last album will leave a mark that I’ve always wanted to achieve. Actively, I might not be participating in industry stuff because I will have other things to do.”
