The 2002 Radio and TV Awards ceremony has been held in Accra. Peace FM?s Morning Show Presenter, Kwame Sefa Kayi was adjudged the best radio presenter of the year while JOY FM?s Doreen Andoh won the best female presenter of the year.
JOY FM won four accolades in all. It was adjudged the best station for news; its current affairs programme, ''Front Page'' won the favourite radio talk programme in English while the ''Cosmopolitan Mix'' won an award for being the favourite day-time programme.
In other categories, Adom Fm?s ''Ofie Kwanso'' presented by Abeiku Santana was adjudged the best evening programme. GTV won the best station for News and best TV station for the year, while Metro TV?s Good Evening Ghana hosted by Paul Adom Otchere was adjudged favourite TV talk show in English.
The favourite local language programme on TV award went to GTV?s ''Agoro'' while ''It Takes Two'' was adjudged the favourite TV game show.
