MzVee and I have good chemistry - Stonebwoy

Ghanaian Afro Pop, Dancehall and Reggae artiste, Stonebwoy has denied rumours that he is in a relationship his fellow dancehall artiste MzVee.

He said he and the lovely musician are just able to bring their creativity to bear when they team up for a project and that their relationship is purely business.

Speaking on Hitz FM’s entertainment news, the award winning artiste said “there is good chemistry between me and MzVee when it comes to music.”

Stonebwoy added that people loved the synergy between him and MzVee when they collaborated on her hit single “natural girl” and that was informing the assumption that something more was happening between them.

He said “our relationship is strictly a friendly one and this is our second song together”.

When asked why he preferred using the Hausa language in his songs, Stonebwoy said it was his way of attracting his fans who speak the language, especially Muslims.

Stonebwoy who is also the CEO of Burniton Music Group and known in real life as Livingstone Etse Satekla said he is impressed with the kind of following he has from the Muslim community and hopes to leverage on that to increase his fan base.

“I’m an artiste who wants to make sure people from all walks of life have a bit of everything language wise and it is a tactical way to widen my fan base”.

Stonebwoy has increasingly gained prominence in the Ghanaian music circles. His second studio album “Necessary Evil” containing 29 tracks was launched on November 22, 2014 and is already enjoying massive air play. It has also been made accessible on iTunes.
