Information reaching NEWS-ONE indicates that one of the people who stood surety for rapper Kwaw Kese to be granted bail from prison custody was a pastor.
However, weeks after Kwaw Kese was granted bail, the identity of the renowned pastor still remains anonymous.
But information gathered by the paper suggested that the man of God is a Kumasi-based pastor who became concerned about Kwaw Kese during his stay in prison.
Kwaw Kese was arrested in Kumasi in December last year for smoking a substance suspected to be marijuana but due to health related issues, he was later granted bail by a Kumasi Circuit Court.
Abodam, as he is popularly known, had indicated after his release that the pastor who was one of the people who stood surety for him did so out of the love he had for humanity and also for the fact that he—the pastor—likes him.
Kwaw Kese is expected to re-appear in court come February 5 after the court allowed him to undergo medical treatment.
Since his release, Kwaw has been in the studio working on several tracks like ‘Yakubu’, ‘Rough’ and ‘Shi Gbogbo’ among others, which are all expected to be released soon.
