Afro-Beats festival for December

Top 30 musicians from Ghana and Africa would be performing at the Independence Square in Accra on December 14 for the debut edition of the ‘The Big Weekend Afro-Beats Festival’.

The event, produced by BBnZ Live in collaboration with Accra Breweries Limited (ABL), is a three-day beer, music and dance festival spread across 10 locations and scheduled for December 13, 14 and 15.

The festival actually starts on Friday December 13, a day on which miniature parties would be held simultaneously across 10 locations including Honey Suckle, Shaka Zulu, Rhapsody’s, Champs Bar & Grill, C Longue, Polo Club, +233 Jazz Club, Best Western Premier Hotel, Devino DnD and the La Pleasure Beach.

Saturday December 14 is the main concert, scheduled for the Independence Square where top musicians from Ghana and beyond would perform on one spectacular stage.

Sunday December 15 would be a family fun and fanfare day.
