Kumasi goes agog ahead of ‘Glo Slide n Bounce’ concert

Kumasi residents say the buzz on the first ‘Glo Slide n Bounce’ concert has taken over campus chit chats, commercial vehicle conversation and office gossips as Artistes lined up for the first Musical concert have begun shining the spotlight on the quality of performance to be expected by audience.

Organizers say the entire backstage-professionals and anchors have been carefully selected to give Glo subscribers a total network experience.

The first concert taking place in Kumasi at the Jubilee park will feature performances from previously announced Nigerian hitmakers and hiplife acts as Asem, Edem and a host of other Glo ambassador.

Line-up for the Kumasi concert includes a mix of Ghana’s multi-talented Papa Yankson as well as Nigeria’s Jude Abaga, aka MI and Wande Coal who earlier this year thrilled throngs of audience during the Nigerian version of Slide n Bounce.

Afro pop star and onetime African Artiste of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards, Wande Coal in a telephone interview said “I can’t wait to meet the good people of Kumasi whom I have heard a lot about. Their King, love for music and the traditional dance. Watch out Ghana it’s going to be more fun than it was in Enugu, Nigeria”.
