Asa to Perform At Miss Ghana 2012 Finals

Ace Nigerian songstress Bukola Elemide popularly known as Asa is set to perform for the first time in Ghana and at this year’s Miss Ghana 2012 finale.

The event which is slated for Saturday, November 10 will see the ‘jailer’ singer give the best to her fans in Ghana.

Exclusive Events Ghana, organizers of the pageant made this known to the public and also announced that she would be accompanied by a team of performers for this historic show.

The 30-year old Naïve act is noted for her unique style I singing in English, French and her native Yoruba languages Marvin Gaye, Fela Kuti, Bob Marley, Sunny Ade and Ebenezer Obey.

She can boast of two albums “Asha” and “Beautiful Imperfection” which she released in 2007 and 2010 respectively and has a couple of singles like “Be My Man”, “Dreamer Girl”, “Why We Can’t” in 2010 and 2011 respectively.

Asa has since her professional career won a lot of awards including the ‘big one’ Prix Constatin Award in France in 2008.
