Edem Silences Critics with Creativity

After any new comer hits limelight, he collides with skeptical analysts who normally don’t foresee the longevity of the act. However, Ghanaian artiste Edem, formerly known as Ayigbe Edem has soared above all these critics with versatility and creativity.

Making a debut with Volta Regime album with Keva as a major hit, Edem has not looked back as he has put in more effort to make his craft unique.

The star brought something new for the market thus rap in Ewe language which prior to that, had not been effectively explored by any musician. Many doubted the sustainability of his style yet he has pursued it to date.

His latest album, Mass Production has thrilled many people as he tried his hand on different genres and executed this task properly. The album covers almost every genre thus hip hop, reggae, high life and so on.

Making waves are his two hit tracks Over Again and Ghetto Arise which keeps blazing loud at various pubs, on rotation at night clubs and on radio. The fluent rapper makes the list on many big events in the country as his talent cannot just be overlooked. He has been involved in many philanthropic activities over the period which has won him the love of many.

Edem’s sense of fashion is completely unique as he tries to blend different wild colours to suit his own style. He has recently gained an endorsement deal from liquor brand Absolute Vodka as an ambassador and this adds to the deal he has with Glo, a telecommunication network. The artiste recently became a major subject for discussion when he disclosed that he has never done drugs and doesn’t intend to.**
